LinkEx, a logistics company that Saia acquired in 2015, is rebranding. The 3PL shifted its name to Saia Logistics last week to create better brand unity. No changes to service, ownership, or day-to-day operations are occurring, a news release said “Moving forward, operating as Saia Logistics simply reflects how closely the Saia freight and LinkEx teams work together, bringing the carrier's ever-expanding less-than-truckload network (LTL) and growing logistics capabilities under one name,” the announcement said. The shift is intended to help improve customer experience by better connecting freight and logistics offerings, the business said in a LinkedIn message “Unifying our logistics services fully under the Saia brand helps customers better understand the breadth of solutions we offer,” Saia EVP and Chief Customer Officer Ray Ramu said in the release.
