Together they address the decade-long stagnation of productivity growth in advanced economies, compelling organizations to reassess what drives employee resilience and performance at a time when workplace health, happiness, and productivity are at a critical juncture. The last five years have been challenging for both employers and employees. Rising costs, declining well-being and employee disconnection have left many organizations stretched. Globally, the study finds nearly half (48 per cent) of employees are grappling with burnout, and only one in five (21 per cent) reporting feeling engaged, costing an estimated US$438 billion in 2024.
