But recently, your favorite fast food place might be getting you to place a larger order than you planned. And you might not even be aware of it. If it seems like you are always ordering above and beyond that go-to order somehow—digital ordering kiosks may be to blame. Major chain restaurants are adding more of these kiosks because the move is proving to bring in more money. More Fast Food Restaurants Are Adding Digital Ordering Kiosks In February, Shake Shack said it had rolled out kiosks to nearly all of its almost 300 U.S. and has seen an increase in sales. “They make up well over half of its in-restaurant orders at these locations,” says Shake Shack Chief Financial Officer Katie Fogertey.
