Home Depot reported lower third-quarter profit and lowered its full-year outlook as an extended downturn in home improvement activity shows little sign of ending. The home improvement retailer reported net income of $3.6 billion, or $3.62 a share, down from $3.65 billion, or $3.67 a share, the year prior.
