Ram teams up with UFC boss Dana White for NASCAR reality series [USA TODAY]

Ram is going to television with a competitive reality show about the brand's reentry to the NASCAR circuit, and the truck maker's CEO has a plan to leverage the effort to sell more vehicles. Ram announced in June that it was plotting a return to NASCAR after leaving the racing circuit 13 years ago. The announcement was followed by the unveiling of a roster, though two spots on the five-man team were notably left blank. Drivers Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, Daniel Dye and Justin Haley will man the roster full-time. To fill one of the two remaining slots, Ram is doing a free agent campaign and offering a new driver each week of the NASCAR season one chance to drive for the company. The fifth slot on the roster will be a full-time racing role earned through the competition reality TV show.
