TEGNA's assets separate pending a review of the acquisition for potential antitrust violations. Chief U.S. District Judge Troy Nunley issued the order Friday in a case brought by DirecTV challenging the merger of two of the nation's largest broadcast companies. The judge said Nexstar must keep TEGNA's business fully separate and stop any integration work until the court rules further on the underlying antitrust case. An in-person hearing is scheduled for April 7. The acquisition closed March 19 after approval from the Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice.
