months ahead, as disruptions tied to the Iran conflict cut off a critical flow of aluminum from the Middle East. Companies including Toyota Motor Corp. ( NYSE:TM ) and Denso Corp. ( DNZOF ) are among the most exposed, with about 70% of Japan's aluminum imports sourced from the region, according to the country's auto lobby. Since hostilities escalated in late February, aluminum prices have risen roughly 13%, increasing cost pressure across key components such as engine parts and wheels.
