More than 9,000 vehicles are being recalled by Toyota due to an inoperative fuel pump that result in a crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration submitted the recall on April 8 for the thousands of Lexus models, and said that the "inoperative fuel pump under these conditions may result in illumination of check engine and otherwarnings, engine no start, and/or vehicle stall." " If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds there is an increased risk of a crash," NHTSA noted.
