SLB wins two contracts from PDO for Oman's Block-6 [Yahoo! Finance]

Block-6 is an onshore conventional oilfield in Oman, operated by PDO. The field is owned by the Government of Oman, PTT Public, Shell and TotalEnergies. The agreements are designed to improve production efficiency and increase recovery rates, while also supporting in-country value. Under the terms of the contracts, SLB will supply low-pressure, high-pressure and thermal wellheads alongside electric submersible pumps (ESPs) and progressive cavity pumps (PCPs). The initiative includes plans to expand local manufacturing and introduce gate valve production within six months.
