UL's strategic pivot to beauty and personal care, job cuts, and asset sales have not translated into convincing sales or margin improvements. At nearly 17x 2026E P/E, UL trades at a premium despite anemic AEPS growth and market share declines, making the current valuation unattractive. I assign UL a 'hold' rating, with a fair value target of £40/share to achieve a 15% annualized return, preferring to wait for a better entry point.
