Analyst Krisztina Katai said the firm views 2026 as “a volatile but broadly risk-on macro environment,” consistent with Deutsche Bank's house view. The bank initiated Buy ratings on Amer Sports, Birkenstock, Ulta Beauty, Ralph Lauren, Ross Stores and TJX Companies, while assigning Hold ratings to Bath & Body Works, Burlington Stores, Nike and Lululemon. Deutsche Bank said it is entering 2026 “with optimism,” pointing to “a relatively resilient consumer and a better pricing/margin backdrop.” Same-store sales should improve, the note said, helped by easier weather comparisons and a meaningful boost from tax refunds in the first half of the year.
