Dive Brief: UPS' Happy Returns has expanded its network of return drop-off locations by more than 1,700 through a partnership with UPS authorized shipping outlets, the company announced Tuesday Happy Returns now has 10,000 drop-off locations, known as Return Bars, nationwide for consumers to access. The reverse logistics provider said the growth reinforces its standing "as the largest consolidated return network in the U.S., now more than three times the size of the next-largest alternative." The additions primarily come from Annex Brands and PackageHub Business Centers locations offering various shipping services with multiple parcel carriers. "It's kind of a natural growth for us to expand into these because these are already places that are authorized to ship using the UPS logo," CEO and co-founder David Sobie told Supply Chain Dive in an interview.
