But when the other half of one of the more toxic rivalries in college sports is on the cusp of national championships in men's basketball and hockey, and your school has just been bounced in both, well, maybe the Final Four and Frozen Four aren't must-sees this year. MSU remains the last Big Ten team to win a national title in either sport. That could change in the coming days if Michigan's basketball wins Saturday night against fellow 1-seed Arizona and then again Monday night against either Connecticut or Illinois. The Wolverines are the betting favorite at +150 to win the title, just ahead of Arizona (+185). Michigan is the favorite in next week's Frozen Four, too (+175), though there's an argument that Denver and North Dakota are playing better hockey right now. If Michigan pulled the double and won both, it would be salt in the wound. For most MSU fans, though, what happens with Dusty May's Michigan basketball team is top of mind and concern.
