Rado Watches Adopts Le Corbusier’s Colors - The New York Times There are many brands with “genderless” watches, now comes the “generation-less” watch. The Swiss watch company Rado has combined the color palettes developed by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier with its own ceramic nology to create what its chief executive, Matthias Breschan, called “unisex and uni-age” timepieces. “There is no longer a watch for young or old people,” he said. “This is a ‘generation-less’ watch.” Rado worked with the Dutch trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort and her Paris-based agency Trend Union on the project, continuing a relationship that began five years ago. “We want to make things that last but that also create a life that is contemporary,” Mr. Breschan said. “She helps us get a very good feeling of this.” Rado, part of the Swatch Group that also includes Omega and Longines, is the only Swiss watch company certified by Les Couleurs Suisse, which manages global licensing for the Fondation Le C
