Ellison's support makes the transaction seem more real, and it puts more pressure on Netflix ( NFLX Financials ), which is also trying to get the studio behemoth. Paramount Skydance Corp. ( PSKY Financials )made the offer better by raising the termination fee to $5.8 billion and giving bidders until January 2026 to submit their bids. After the announcement, Warner Bros. shares went up 2.5%, while Paramount Skydance shares went up 1.6%.
